Aside from the saved money, there’s still a lot to be squeezed out of Sony’s next best OLED. First and foremost, the A80J harnesses the same processing power of the pricier A90J flagship. Through the new Cognitive Processor XR, these Sony TVs survey the frame in real time to optimize details and specific objects that (they think) would draw our attention. These customized adjustments on make-or-break visuals like tone or background light depending on the angle from which a scene is filmed.
