A colorful lifestyle shoe that pulls its inspiration from classic ’70s runners, the 237 serves as an undeniably apt follow-up to other popular models like the and , repackaging and updating retro running flair for the discerning modern-day lifestyle consumer.
No punches are pulled on the 237’s debut colorway, a vivid mixture of dark navy, rich forest green, spicy red and mustard yellow, all centered around a large light gray N logo on the midfoot. Colors aren’t the only mixture on the 237 either: the upper uses suede, mesh and textiles for a multi-textured look.
Apart from the midfoot logo, there’s also New Balance branding stamped on the heel and present on the nylon tongue’s tan tag. Down below, EVA foam midsoles feature an extended green wedge under the heel, placed above a standard grey slab of foam for extra texture. Traditional black outsoles round off the look.
The New Balance 237 is set to debut via on February 6, and will be priced at a palatable $85 USD.
