Hip retailer often orders exclusive goods and its latest drop is no different. The Japanese boutique has enlisted for an exclusive capsule of tonal tailoring, steeped in the family member’s signature retro styling.
All of the large Japanese retailers receive exclusive items from brands that they stock, ranging from custom accessories to special apparel crafted in collaboration with the stores. Of course, competitors like often have some crossover — it even received — but this drop at STUDIOUS is NEEDLES largest special drop of Spring/Summer 2021 thus far.
Crafted from warm premium polyester and fully lined in crisp white cupra, the exclusive raglan-sleeved jackets and loose side-tab trousers are offered in three matching sets of black, grey and cream. Each features thoughtful detailing throughout; the jackets, for instance, boast vintage touches like stand collars and double vents but are updated with inset side pockets instead of flap or patch pockets. Both garments feature NEEDLES’ signature papillon logo on the left hand side — at the jacket’s breast pocket and below the trousers’ left-hand pocket — that exudes subtle flair in the darker iterations and stands out in stark tones on the lighter set.
