Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro are a comparable pair of earbuds — they sound great, boast active noise cancellation, and last all day with their wireless charging case — but work way better in the Android ecosystem. They also just so happen to be on sale at a fraction of the price of their $249 Apple-made counterparts, so there’s that.
Typically $199.99, you can score a pair at Walmart for just $139 in your choice of two metallic finishes (Phantom Silver or a purpley Phantom Violet) as of July 13 — that’s a 15% savings and their lowest price ever, as far as we can tell. (For comparison’s sake, they only managed to dip down to $169.99 during last month’s Prime Day sales.)

Want ’em in Phantom Black? Those’ll run you just $10 more.
The follow-up to 2020’s heavily memedGalaxy Buds Live, the Galaxy Buds Pro wound up nabbing a Mashable’s Choice Award upon their release this past January — and not just because they ditched that bean shape.
“If I owned a Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy Buds Pro would be a no-brainer for me,” said tech reporter Alex Perry. “They work just as seamlessly with something like a Galaxy Note 20 (which I used for testing) as AirPods do with an iPhone, provide terrific sound quality and noise cancellation, and can sit in my ears for hours at a time without bothering me.”
Perry did note that the Galaxy Buds Pro could be better at muting louder outdoor noises and that their voice detection feature is a little too sensitive. Still, “the Galaxy Buds Pro are a worthy successor to the Galaxy Buds Live and something Android owners should consider,” he declared in his review (which you can read in its entirety here).
