Britney Spears as seen in 2016 at the MTV Video Music Awards. A week after her father announced he was going to end her conservatorship, her Instagram disappeared, but she says she is only taking a break.

Britney Spears’ Instagram account, which her fans have interpreted for clues as she battled her conservatorship, is temporarily unavailable.

After anxious fans noticed her Instagram account had gone missing, Spears hopped on Twitter to explain that she’s just taking a break from social media after her engagement. Notably, Spears hasn’t deleted her Twitter account during said break, but she uses Instagram much more often.

Spears and actor Sam Asghari announced their engagement on Sunday, about a week after her father filed legal paperwork that could eventually lead to the end of his conservatorship of the singer’s estate. The conservatorship let him control his daughter’s career and personal life for the past 13 years, a power that Spears said in court had hurt her detrimentally. The conservatorship forced her into mental health treatment and prevented her from removing an IUD, a birth control device, Spears testified in June.

Her Instagram account inspired the popular podcast Britney’s Gram, which spotlights her posts and teases out their meaning, drilling down into the pop icon’s emoji use for possible messages she may be sending to fans. The account also fed the Free Britney movement buoyed by those who want her conservatorship to end.

Although Spears’ Instagram account is on hiatus, Asghari’s Instagram account is still active. He last posted a photo on Monday; it’s of the couple kissing as Spears shows off her engagement ring in the foreground. The caption? The king and queen emoji.
