Announced back in August, the eagerly-awaited second edition of Travis Scott‘s Astroworld Festival went down this weekend, with big names like Gucci Mane, Migos, Marilyn Manson and more playing to the immense gathering in Houston. Unfortunately, a few fans were sent to the hospital before the festival even began due to surging crowds.

As reported by ABC affiliate KTRK, three attendees were transported to the hospital as Astroworld Festival began around noon on Saturday, November 9. Held at Houston’s NRG Park, the event drew thousands upon thousands of attendees, with many queuing up several hours ahead of the opening. The Houston Fire Department confirmed the trio were sent to Memorial Hermann with minor leg injuries after they were trampled by other guests rushing into the event.

Several attendees and Scott himself captured the ensuing scrum as the festival opened its doors, with Scott adding, “BE SAFE RAGE HARD.”

Later in the day, the chaos appears to have subsided, with the Houston Police tweeting that there had only been a single arrest made and they were collaborating with organizers to ensure public safety. However, they deleted an earlier tweet declaring Astroworld Festival understaffed, saying that “promoters did not plan sufficiently for the large crowds.”

Aside from curating Houston’s largest music festival, Scott is staying busy this month with the forthcoming rollout of his Nike Air Force 1 “Cactus Jack.”
