UPDATE: Nov. 19, 2021, 12:00 a.m. EST We’ve updated this post to include the most recent deals on Amazon devices.

  • BEST AMAZON DEVICE DEAL: Echo Show 8 (1st Gen), a versatile smart home hub, now back to its lowest price ever — $59.99 $109.99 (save $50)

  • BEST TV DEAL: LG 65-inch C1 Series OLED 4K TV, a TV with fast refresh rate that’s perfect for gaming — $1,796.99 $2,499.99 (save $703)

This Black Friday shopping season — like most things in the last two years — has been completely unprecedented. It started with Amazon unveiling its early holiday sales event, Epic Daily Deals, on Oct. 4, marking what might be the earliest start to the shopping season we’ve ever seen. But for folks who didn’t hop on the early deals train, Amazon just announced plans for its actual Black Friday sale — and it’s going to be huge.

In a press release, Amazon provided a sneak peek of when the sales will drop, how to shop, and which products and brands will be on sale. The Black Friday event will run for 48 hours from Nov. 25 through Nov. 26 and will allegedly include more deals than ever before across basically every category, including tech, Amazon devices, home, kitchen, beauty, toys, streaming, and more. If you’re not into the whole commercial Black Friday thing, you’ll also have the opportunity to support small and medium-sized businesses (while still enjoying Amazon’s fast shipping) by choosing gifts from amazon.com/supportsmall.

Best Amazon Black Friday deals

So far, we’ve seen huge discounts on Amazon devices, robot vacuums, headphones, iPads, and kitchen gadgets. As we get closer and closer to the actual shopping holiday, we’re expecting to see sales on smart home gadgets, TVs, small kitchen appliances (like air fryers and Instant Pots), headphones, laptops, tablets, and more. We’ll probably also see some sweet gaming bundles — but if 2021 is anything like last year, Nintendo Switches and other gaming consoles will sell out fast.

As of Nov. 19, Amazon dropped a huge list of its own devices at dirt cheap prices (probably to compete with Best Buy’s Nov. 19 Black Friday deals event). We’re seeing basically every configuration of Fire Tablet on sale, plus tons of Ring video doorbells, Echo devices, and more. We even saw the first discount on an Amazon device that hasn’t even dropped yet — the Amazon Halo View fitness tracker — which was slashed by $30.

Here’s a master list of the best early Black Friday deals we’ve seen on Amazon as of Nov. 19. (We’ll keep updating this list as new products get added, so be sure to check back often.)

Please note: Anything with a strikeout was either sold out or no longer available at the sale price as of this writing, but check back as we’re updating this page constantly.

How to shop Amazon’s Black Friday deals event

You’ll find all the sweet sales at amazon.com/blackfriday, on the Amazon shopping app, at Amazon Books stores and Amazon 4-star physical locations, or even by asking Alexa what your deals are. It also pays to be a Prime member this Black Friday, since Prime members get a 30 minute head start on select Lightning Deals (which will definitely be a useful feature considering this year’s supply chain challenges).

Amazon notes that all deals are while supplies last, so if you’ve waited this long to buy your holiday gifts, jump on the deals ASAP on Nov. 25 when they drop.

Supply-chain scaries

You know, like the Sunday Scaries — but instead, the entire globe is running low on pretty much everything. Everything from books to the semiconductor chips that power smartphones, cars, and more are short-stocked, and it means that this holiday season, it’s more important to actually find the products you’re looking for rather than worry about if you’re getting the cheapest deal.

With that being said, the new early sales strategy that Amazon has been running on was never just a ploy to get the holiday cheer going before winter actually hit — it was likely in response to these global supply chain issues. For a company that prides itself in getting orders to customers super quickly, these shortages are a major concern. While some popular items are already looking a bit scarce, we have advice for how to cop the product you’re looking to buy. Some pro tips: If you’re buying a gaming console, a robot vacuum, a laptop, a smartphone, or a smart watch, snag them early. These products are almost guaranteed to go fast once the sales start.

Considering that availability is the name of the game this shopping holiday, the best way for consumers to avoid running into supply issues is to buy early. If you see hot-ticket items like AirPods, iPads, or gaming consoles drop in price, you’d best scoop them up while they’re still in stock — or you might have to write an IOU for a loved one’s holiday gift.
