Devo’s Gerald V. Casale is now re-releasing his legendary 2006 solo album AKA Jihad Jerry & The Evildoers as a limited edition and artist TOMO77 had the pleasure to work on an eye-catching album artwork.

Known as the Lennon and McCartney of the New Wave music movement, Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale are the founding members of the American rock band, Devo. Gerald V. Casale is now re-releasing his legendary 2006 solo album AKA Jihad Jerry & The Evildoers as a limited edition. With contributions from all of his Devo bandmates—Josh Freese, Bob Casale (d.2014), Bob Mothersbaugh, and Mark Mothersbaugh—it’s considered to be the ‘lost’ Devo album and a holy grail for collectors. It’s available for the first time on vinyl, deluxe expanded CD, and 7-inch vinyl. All 3 formats include the new single “I’m Gonna Pay U Back”.

Artist TOMO77 has created several custom pieces for the cover and a really cool short film art video to accompany the project. TOMO77 has an LA gallery show upcoming this fall at La Luz de Jesus Gallery and has recently just done a collaboration with fellow artist Shepard Fairey.
